Does anyone know a way in which you can create a line type/style where it shows up in the project but does not print?

Thanks!

There's no way to have non-plotting linetypes in Revit. You may want to use reference planes (they won't print).

You could create a unique line style subcategory... Settings... Linestyles and then hide the category in all views (or sheets). Click on the "light bulb" (Reveal Hidden Elements tool) to see your hidden lines that won't plot. That's about as close as you're going to get to text and lines that don't plot.

We have used a new line style that is set to a bright color for layout lines and when we plot we just change it to white or very close to make it invisible when it plots through line styles which effects all the lines.

So true....i've noticed that. That said, anyone know if there is way to control draworder of model elements, and/or affect plotted output as can be done in acad with 'lines merge'/'lines overwrite' ?
