I have a window family that has a couple of voids to make reveals in the host adjacent to the wall. I have two walls (one on top of the other) and the bottommost reveal is half in the top wall in half in the bottom wall. I don't want the window family to cut into the bottom wall. I know it's possible for it to not cut into the bottom wall beause in one other place in the same project it's working the way I want it to. I've already tried joining and unjoining geometry to no avail.

Hey there,
Sorry, but I have to ask....Did you join the two walls together to act as one?
(I thought you may have been referring to joining the wall and window elements.)
Good Luck

Nope. Tried joining and unjoining them... but they behaved the same way as they did earlier.

Can you post your family? I just tried to reproduce the same here, but it works as expected: only cuts the wall that's actually hosting it and not the one bellow too.
