Map Image Insert Crashes Civil 3D

I am running Civil 3D 2009 on multiple computers and when I try to use the Map/ Image/ Insert/ command
I get the following dialog

Assert Message:
Cannot Open Frame
File: .\AcMapCoordinateTransform.cpp
Date: Mar 13 2008
Line: 221
Abort Retry Ignore

Any of the above options prompts an Internal Error: .\AcMapCoordinateTransform.cpp
click OK and it closes C3D 2009
I have seen this on multiple computers with a multiple image files with or without associated world files. Has anyone run into this on just MAP 2009 software? Does anyone have a fix for this?
