Hello:

I've created a generic model family that spans across multiple floors of a 12 story building. When in plan view, the entire depth of this generic model is displayed, i.e., its display is not cut off at the view depth plane.

How can I fix this?

If it's an in-place family, you'll have to break it up into separate families, floor by floor.

What type of object are you modeling?

Someone here may have a better strategy...

in 2009, under the view properties, there are new options under 'Depth Clipping" - do they work?

Also, go to the Revit Help menu and type in "cuttable families" you will get an answer to your original question.
