on some of the models like toliets the mesh edges can get sort too much.
AutoCad had a var to to turn this off so all that was seen was the perimeter edges
any reason why that isn't here

an imported mesh isn't native to revit, so there isn't such an option...there are a lot of toilets that are native and do not have a mesh.

yep you be right on that one
download another "Revit" toilet from "Revit City"
and it was much better.

the internal solids of revit are very much the same as ".sat" files.
they can be exported from solids in Rhino Max and Acad
some manufacturas provide them too http://www.duravit.com/products/categories/toilets/starck-1/toilet-wall-mounted--021009_0040_93218_useo6ptmaz.html
import them into your family and you will see the difference
