Attach wall to underside of beam and constrain

I've been looking around for information on this, but can not for the life of me find anything. I want to have my walls attach to the underside of the beam, and have it constrained so if I change the beam size, the wall will get taller or shorter. The center line of the beam is 8" to the outside finish of the wall. This is a shaft wall of an elevator and we don't want the wall to go through the beam, but don't know how to show this properly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Try to "Edit Profile" the wall and use the "Align" tool. Align the horizontal top portion(line) of the wall to the bottom of the beam and lock the alignment. Hope this will help.
