Dear All

In RAC 2008, I just initiate the Array command to create Array of Groups. But on the options Bar "Constrain" check box is out of the Right side screen and is not visible. I tried to switch on and Off other Tools and resize window but it cant help. Please tell me how <constrain> check box can be visible on the Options Bar?

Max is very good in it, it has a option to view the Icons as small or Large, But does Revit have this kind of settings?

The only reason you would encounter this problem is if your screen resolution is set to 800x600 or less. If you can't increase the resolution of your display you can hold down the shift key while dragging to your second point to constrain the array.

Thanks Sir, Increasing Pixel amount is working. Constrain check box is visible now. Is there any method to On or Off the Type Selector so that Option Bar Skip at left side.

Please sort out this problem: -
I create a Group of Objects which includes two walls, Doors and Doors Tags.

I set these options: -

Array Type - Linear
Group and Associate check Box - Cleard
Number - 9.
2nd. radio button is selected
Constrain check box is checked.

After Array is created, when I click on right side Wall, the Blue icon is missing which allows us to exclude the wall. What I shud so that blue Icon can be displayed.

You will need to use your TAB key to cycle through your selection set. Put your "arrow" over the wall you want to exclude, hit TAB until it highlights, click that wall. The blue box should appear for you to select it.

I do the same procedure suggesed by you. Pressing Tab to cycle through Walls. But Wall is single and when I click on it, no Grip appear to exclude the obects. I think some other other options is need to be invoke.

I think some other other options is need to be invoke. If the wall is single then it is not part of a group. It sounds as if you have arrayed the wall, but not actually included it in the group. If it is in the group (which you will know if the entire group will highlight when you select the wall) and also if you must hit TAB to select the wall individually, then I'm not certain what's happening. It sounds like from the description that it's not actually grouped.

As Brian said....you said that Group and Associate checkbox is cleared, meaning you're arraying objects only. Revit is not making them into a group. It's like you used the copy tool 9 times.
