roof, eave heigth

i can see a few ways to "work around" or "cheat" this....refer to elevation....i want the roof slope to the left to extend farther than it does and creat a exterior porch condition for the first floor....i want the eaves to be at different levels....a can attach another roof to the end of the first one.....when i offset the roof the roof raises itself.....can i lock it?, then offset and have one eave lower than the other??

If you have created roof by footprint. Select roof , edit, select roof line you want to extend then change OVERHANG in element properties. This can be done also when first creating roof by imputing different overhangs.
