We are testing w/our structural guys. They are not having any problems with our model, but when we link theirs back into ours, it is shifted. They say they are just using center-to center, but I have my doubts. Any thoughts

Is there a reason why they are not using Origin to Origin? Depending upon how the model was started that "could" take care of the issue by itself.

Yes, origin to origin should be used. Additionally, I have created templates for revit arch, struct, and mep where I have located the origin in the exact same spot. I even went so far as to draw a circle with an x through it with detail lines in all the templates. That way I can visually see that when I insert from another discipline using origin to origin I'm lined up.

It appears the eng drew his own grid w/o any ref. to ours hence the misalingment. We are trying to get them to start with our grid and then copy so we can do this right. Also, we found by aligning his grdi to ours manually and saving and reloading also took care of any new links from him.
