Hi all...My company just moved from AutoCAD 2007 to 2008, and everything was working fine until we tried to work on an older project. The job has files from and outside architect as well as our own. When we worked on it originally, the files openned quickly and without problems. Now with the implemenation of 2008, the files take 2-3 mins to open. It's draining my brain because this is the only job that has this problem. (And we have a quick deadline on it)
I'd really appreciate any help on this.

Thanks.

Jay

Thanks Filipe...I tried that already, but it didn't help. The file gets hung up while loading xrefs. Even a title block xref that has nothing attached to it takes over a minute to load into the drawing. Do you know of any settings that need to be changed in 2008? Or anything that would make 2008 perform slower than 2007?

How old is the projects, and what version was the last to open it?

the project is only a year old, and was last opened in 2007. I just found out that using the -scalelistedit command then reseting the default settings worked out for me. No more issues...

Thanks for the help!
