Hi All,

Recently, I've been noticing an odd interaction between Revit 2009, and MS Office 2007.

Every now and then, I'm working in Revit, then I launch an MS Office program. Maybe Outlook, Excel, or Word.

When I return back to the Revit application, my keyboard has limited functionality. Keyboard shortcuts like "VG" or "WT" no longer work. Even common shortcuts like "Ctrl+P" don't work anymore. I can't type dimensions into dimension strings.

The keyboard still works in the other applications that I have running. Just not Revit.

I can solve the issue by quitting and restarting Revit... but this is a sub-optimal solution. Anything that slows me down... sucks.

At first, I thought it was just me. Maybe I'm going crazy or senile. But turns out, other people in the office are reporting the same phenomenon.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

Thanks,

Bryan

Thanks for the message. Our office is also on Windows XP. Anyone else see this issue?

yep, had that issue for a while (and i'm only on ms 2003). it usually was triggered while running photoshop at the same time. found out my virtual memory had to be increased. now it's fine.
