Reveal Cutting Wall Sweep

Hello all.

I have a wall sweep with reveals that need to be in it. My reveals and wall sweep work fine in elevations and 3d. However, when I cut a section throught the reveal that is on a wall sweep, it does not show up. I can select it and it is there, but the profile of the reveal is not seen. Here is a 3d view and a section view to illustrate what I am talking about. The reveal works fine when it is cutting an actually wall (profile lines show up in the wall). So the question is, what can I do to be able to show the profile lines of the reveal in section when it is cutting a wall sweep.

if they work in an actually wall, why wouldn't they work in a wall sweep? I did check the family and each of the boxes are checked. still doesn't work. I have decided to make generic models for these types of elements. Has this always been the case where reveals do not show the profile lines when it is cutting through a wall sweep?

Do you mind copying and pasting that specific wall with its sweeps into a new file for posting here so we can take a better look at it?

I know that this thread is old, but I had this same problem until I removed the profile from the reveal area and added it to the sweep area. it worked like a charm... and only took a whole day to figure out.

again, the reveal wasn't showing up in a section view on the wall-types sheet. after changing to a sweep it showed up.
