We are eager to set up our new CAD standards to adjust to the wonders of MEP2008, like fields, using the Project Browser and Navigator, etc. But my concern is in collaborative projects with other disciplines/consultants. What experiences have others had when dealing with collaborative projects? How have you dealt with these issues:
1. consultants using a different (older) version of the software? (So they can't "see" fields, for example. We used to have enough trouble expecting other consultants to use ProjectName, so that we didn't have a problem with "hard-coded" file paths! Now, with the Project Navigator/Browser setting up file structures, how do we handle other's file structures?)
2. sharing of xrefs? (whoops, I mean constructs!) We consistently share backgrounds, and usually isolated them by owner in our projects. How has this worked for you guys? Any special recommendations?
3. other issues you folks have encountered that we need to be mindful of?
