I read another post where a user noted that once Split Faces are created, they can not be edited or removed. It appears that you have to have the whole workset signed out before you can edit a split face on an object.
Frustrating...

Nope - that's not it either. At times it appears that a split face, once created, can't be edited or deleted. I can't reproduce this bug consistently, and it doesn't matter if the object is editable or its workset is editable: occasionally split faces become uneditable.
Anyone else have this problem?

We find openings are also hard to select...we usually do so from a 3D view...maybe that'll work for this too?

I've never had this problem. Did this just appear on the latest build? I'm using the previous build.
Does it matter if it's wireframe or hidden line?

No - I did read your post about trying wire frame. We'll just have to keep our eyes again.
We noticed right away that we couldn't edit the split faces, so we undid them. Then we used Split Face again, and this time we could edit them.
Those damn butterflies in China again!
