I have created a family for a linear diffuser the goal is to create a linear diffuser that can be of any length. Also so that there is a duct connection for every 4' of length. I thought I had this created and working fine. If I have the family open it functions perfect, but once I place it into a drawing I get problems. When the family is initially placed it works fine, but once I change the length(width category on family) of the diffuser the 3D model adjust correctly but the duct connections don't appear. Either that or some appear but not all that are supposed to. Can someone please take a look and tell me what is wrong? Or maybe I created it the incorrect way.
Just a little history on how I created the family.
I created 2 extrusions. 1st extrusion I have not visible on coarse and medium the 2 types I use. This extrusion is a set length of 4' and is there simply so I can place the duct connection on it and use it for array purposes. 2nd extrusion is there to provide the 3d modeling side of the diffuser. I then did the array and added a parameter to divide the width / 4' to create an array integar and assigned it.
