Newbie here, about 2 weeks removed from Revit training.

My first office Revit assignment is to model a proposed parking garage. I've got the basic form done okay, and I even added some the required parking stalls... EXCEPT I can't seem to figure out how to place them on the parking ramps. I suspect I have to establish some sort of reference plane onto which I would then place/originate the ramping parking spaces.

Welcome to the forum!

You can try modeling the ramps as sloped floors. It will look exactly as the ramp and will host the parking elements.

When creating floors, you have the sloping arrow to allow you to create sloping floors.

I hope it helps,

Also, as another option you can edit your parking component family, go to Settings menu > Family category and parameters > select work plane based. This will make the face of the ramp to host your element.
