Help .chm file causes REVIT to try and reinstall

We have REVIT Architecture 2009 installed on a machine that also runs Trane700. To get Trane700's help files to work we have to add the following registry key:

REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x\IttsRestrictions]
"MaxAllowedZone"=dword:00000001

But this will cause REVIT to try and reinstall everytime Trane700 help is run.

This did not happen with REVIT 2008 or earlier.

Any help?
