Spell check crash!

everytime i do a spell check my Revit crashes and has to close.

is this a common bug?

i can replicate this every time, it happens when spell checking has completed.

is it on every file or just a certain one? You should submit a support request either way. If it's on all files give the machine specs. If it's only on the one, submit that file to support.

We haven't had any issues with spell check.

i just tested on my template file and the same thing, here is the error i get - very annoying as i have not completed a spell check yet.


i just tested in a default metric template and it was ok, so perhaps it is cos of a template file from 2008?

wahoo, i have done an Audit and it seems to have fixed the error :)

I am having this problem myself. When spell check completes, Revit crashes.
Can you explain the steps you took to fix the problem?

Since I'm here I'll tell you how to audit your file. Save and close your file. Select File > Open > Select the file > check the Audit box found in the Open dialog box.

Let us know if that solved your problem.

Ok i've tested this on two files audited them and i'm still getting the crash. Sometimes its the unrecoverable error sometimes its the one asking to save a recovered file. Is there any insight as to what is causing this? I can get it to happen everytime. These are general notes sheets that have a full drawing sheed of notes.
