We r drawing a Roof In RAC 2008, when we r trying to change Cut Plane Offset from 4' to 18' in View properties of the Level in which the Roof is based, then error appear that "Top clip Plane is set Below the Cut Plane". [Revit is not giving error up to Cut Plane offset to 7'].
Well, the same 14' amount of Cut Plane is working fine in Revit Building. Please suggest what is happening and remedy of it.

In the view properties -> View range dialogue box the value for "top" has to be higher than the value for "Cut plane", if you try and set the cut pane higher than the top then you will get that error.
Solution -> If you raise the cut plane, also raise the top value.
hope that helps.

your suggestion is working. I have another query as follows: -
Roof is drawn in RAC 2008 using Roof By footprint, and it is visible in the concerned Floor plan level. But in Revit Building 9 (Prior Version of RAC 2008) the same Roof is not visible in concerned Level. So what is method to make the roof invisible in the concerned level in RAC 2008 by Default as in Revit Building 9.

I would simply compare the view properties and view range in each project and set them to both be the same.
