Hello All,
trying to pick your brain on this one, when importing a site dwg into Revit, do you:
(assuming you cleaned the file and did all things needed with layers etc.)
1- link the dwg center to center and Acquire coordinated
or:
2- in the dwg, do ID at a given point (TBM is ideal), record your coordinates in the XYZ, move your dwg to 0,0, link into Revit, use specify coordinates at a point (enter the above recorded info) and than change you levels to report shared coordinated as appose to project.
your thoughts?
thanks,
