I have a weld symbol family that has a yes/no parameter that should show G with a line above it when I check the box. Instead of a G, I get the Yes show up on the symbol. I've attached the file so hopefully someone can let me know what I've done wrong and how to get the G to show up. Thanks for any help.

I've created a parameter called Grind Text where you can type what you want (like G). The visibility of the "grind text" is controlled by the Yes/No parameter you've created for Grind and Farside grind.

See attached and reverse engineer to have a better understand.

That is exactly what I was looking for.

Not quite sure why you have to have another parameter if the Grind and Farside Grind yes/no parameter gave you an option for sample text.

Okay, maybe this is it:
So basically the Grind and Farside Grind yes/no parameter is just a toggle. Then to get text to show up, you create another parameter that defines the text as a 'text' parameter type. Then in the Element properties you set the visibility of that label (grind text) to equal the Grind or Farside Grind parameter. I think that's making since now.

Thanks Andre, I really appreciate you taking the time to help!
