I am using Autocad 2005 Map. I want to print my file so I can import it into Microsoft Powerpoint.

When I Export the file (as a BMP) only the layout tab prints. Any information in the viewport (Model space) does not print. There is just a big blank space. Is there any way to get the viewport to print. I tried to drag and drop into Microsoft Word same result.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Perform a page setup and select either Publish to Web plot devices
listed, I would suggest using the JPG format and not the PNG one.
On the Plot settings tab you will then select your desired output resolution
not exactly page size.
Once done, then plot this layout using the page setup you just performed.

Hi

Personally if I had to choose between JPEG or PNG from within AutoCAD I would definitely go with PNG.

Instead, why not directly input the DWG file into Powerpoint or via a DWF file (both options are a lot better than using an image format, in my humble opinion) -

Have a good one, Mike
