Save to Library --> Save Views...

When I go to save a set of model views from a project, I'll be able to save some, but not all. I've compared the settings between the ones that can and can't and I don't see any glaring mistakes, they all seem to have identical settings.

Example: File --> Save to Library --> Save Views... from here I can select EAST and WEST elevations, but not NORTH or SOUTH, they simply don't show up on the list.

Right clicking on these specific views and Save to New File is greyed out for NORTH and SOUTH as well.


Same goes for other types of model views - 3 out of 6 sections in the same project can be saved out. I'm sure it's something simple, but I'm really at a loss for what it could be.

Probably you have no annotations or details (detail lines, detail components, etc..) on the views you can't save.

None of our elevations/sections at this stage have annotation/dimenions, etc. However, still the same problem, some will save and some will not.

What do you get when you open the views you can save. As I understood it this tool only saved out detail views or the detail components / notes etc in a view.

The tool actually saves the annotations, details components AND the model, with the clip box set to show the 3D model exactly as the view you are saving (similar to what we do when setting the 3D model to orient to a section view or elevation view...)

But as far as I know, it only works if at least one annotation or detail element is added to the view.
