I was forced to start a project for a customer before I was finished with a standard set of drawings. Now I have 2 very similar projects. After I was done getting the basic drawing set out to the customer I went back to the standard set to finish what I started, Now I want to make the customers project very similar to what I've already done in my standard project. (i.e. I want to add in what's missing or changed) So I'm looking for a insert view from project tool similar to the one already there, but supports model views as well as drafting and sheets. I realize it's not there, but is there a quicker way to select all view specific elements from one project to another view by view and maybe copy specific views from one project to another?
Right now it looks like all I can do is simply create my missing views in the new project, apply a view template (that was imported from the original project) and then select all elements in the original project and filter out model elements, copy and paste to new project. Seems to work, just tedious when I knew I'd have to do it before I started the customer project. Any better ideas out there?
