Inserting Ceilings for light fixtures

Hi, I am having a hard time inserting a ceiling to install light fixtures in my floor plan, and do not know what i am doing wrong i get an error that says, "None of the created elements are visible in Floor Plan: 1st Floor Electrical View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings".

It's either, your Visisbility graphics setting has your ceilings turned off, your view range is not set correctly, or you need to create a reflected ceiling plan from your floor plan, from the Views menu.
