I have one more problem with images maybe someone can help. I have the same "ecw" image in a drawing and want to either convert it or plot it in "grayscale" or black and white. It's a color image but I don't have any other software to edit it unless someone has a suggestion. Is there an option in Map 3D 2009 to plot just the image in grayscale?

I'm guessing you have linework that you want to keep as colors. I'm also guessing you don't have Raster Design.

The drawings I work with are monochrome to start with & I work in ACAD, instead of Map, but I wonder if you could change the layer color to some shade of gray.

Correct I want to keep the linework in color and then change the color "ecw" file to monochrome. No I don't have Raster Design only the add in for Autodesk Map 3D 2009 that allows the support of the "ecw" file. Do you have the capability of converting a "ecw" file to monochrome? If so I could attach the file.

If you have several, you can print only the images in grayscale, then rescan them & insert them into drawings. If you only have the one, I can fix it for you.
