View Full Version : New light fixture blocks out grid lines on DEMO RCP! Anyone know why?

I have a 2 x 2 ceiling grid in which I am both demoing and adding some 2x2 fixtures. I'm having a graphics problem where, when I add a new light on the RCP, the light somehow covers the ceiling grid lines on my Demo RCP, even though my phase filter is set to not show new work. Just where that light is, the grid lines sometimes disappear on Demo RCP, like the light covers up the grid line.

[I am using phases (existing and new) - so I have my RCP set to be "Show previous plus new" and my Demo RCP to "Show previous plus demo"...both views current phase is set to be new.]

I just tried what you described, and I still have the grids showing in my Demo plan. The grid lines at the perimeter of the new light location is dark instead of gray-scale, but that's how it should be since it is treating it like a demolished grid.

Really!? Because on mine, the grid turns a really super lite line and it stays gray instead of going black. It's almost like because it is such a lite line, it gets missed on the print.

Have you checked your graphic overrides for demolished objects? Check to make sure it's not overriding the fill pattern color of demolished objects to a light color, or making it half-tone.
