I have a large area drawing (survey) in acad format that I want to use in RAC.
The trouble is that I want to use some of the geometry (lines, arc, polylines, etc) as area boundaries (or as room separation lines).
I cannot find out how to convert them to other than detail or model lines.
Thanks in advance

Gonçalo,
You can't. But you can use the enclosed lines from the DWG as reference. Bring the DWG, go to "Room separation lines" > pick lines > hover over one line from the chain > use TAB to select the chain > pick. Not automatically as you would like but works. You have to use it as Room Separation Lines as it won't work for Area Boundary, though.

Andre,
It works the same way in area boundaries :D
It will speed up things a lot!
Thanks very much, or muito agradecido ;)

Good to know, Gonçalo.
I think it won't work if the option "Apply Area Rules" is checked... But if it is not, as you said, it will.
