View Full Version : Spell Check not working

When we try to use the spell check tool for some reason it does not work, nothing happens. We have tried it on multiple workstations some with network licenses and some with stand alone. We have also tried it in multiple projects and new projects, sheets and working views. Anyone know why it would all of a sudden stop working like this? Tried rebooting the machines as well.
Revit 2008 Build 20080101_2345 We have not moved to 2009 as of yet.

I have see this before (long ago) when people installed a MS product (like MS Word or MS Outlook), then the spelling tab in Revit switched from Revit to Word and only allowed the French language, making the spell check not even open. Have you checked the Spelling tab to see if the "French" language issue is not what is causing this?

I am ErichB's co-worker and this is the case. We have recently installed Office 2007 and cannot select anyother option other than the French language. Is there any patch or fix for this problem?

Just so you know, this is still an open issue with development. A fix for this is targeted for the next major release of Revit.
