I hope someone has seen this one before.

When I draw a line on top of another line and go to offset the line I just drew AutoCAD will grab the line below it. I have checked the draworderctl variable and it is set to 3.

As far as I can tell the new object is on top of the old to.

Try playing with SORTENTS; I think it should be set to 127 but there have been changes in the way it works.

Also, check what happens if you REGEN between placing the new line and offsetting it (make the new line a diferent colour from the old one).

You might try a value of 96 which was the old default value.
