one sided hatch patterns

have a shingle hatch pattern on the roof using a roof family
but noticed when looking under the eave the pattern is also underneath
is it possible to show hatch on just the top part and the bottom just the sheathing material....or whatever it is.

well got one thing accomplished today,,, had a big argument with myself and won.....

Ray,

You have to go to the properties of your roof and edit the assembly to add a thin layer to it (and apply the material only to that specific layer).
