I have been working with a file for a couple weeks, and now all the lines look jagged, and are really poor quality. I can't print it anymore, because it looks like ****. Is there a way to fix this?

Try doing a regen on the drawing. Although, that should happen automatically when you save it then open it again.
The drawing hasn't been open for weeks, has it?

I tried REGEN, but it still looks jagged. It is an old CAD file, and it looked fine the first few time I opened it last week. This week, it looks jagged. I haven't made any changes to it, except to change the font.

can you post a screen capture or a part of the drawing?

This is a bmp of what it looks like on screen. It's not extremely jagged, but it is enough to be a poor line quality. We are using this file for presentaion, so this quality is unacceptable to my boss.

Does it plot 'jagged' also?
You may want to set Viewres higher, say 5000; and/or set Whiparc=1

Yes, it plots jagged, and the viewres has already been set to 20000. Whiparc is already 1.

This is what it looked like when I first opened it.

What entity types are the lot lines? Lines, polylines, etc.?

Everything is just lines and arcs. No polylines, and everything is on the same layer.

Have you tried copying all of the objects over to a new drawing and seeing if it smooths them out? Wouldn't hurt.

Yeah, it still looks the same way. I also tried tracing over it, but the new lines also look jagged. I thought maybe it was a video card issue or something, but it should still print out ok, and it doesn't.

It looks as if the whole thing may have been rotated slightly. Try selecting everything and use the Reference option of Rotate to make all the lower line segments truly horizontal (I'm assuming that they should be horizontal). It also looks as if the the top (angled) line may actually be two lines.

Could you post a portion of the offending dwg?
