3D dwg. dxf FILES

Any help on importing DXF files.

In a 3D view the file appears listed in the visibility duologue box under the DWF/dwg tab but is not visible on the screen...

Maybe worth checking the original units of the Autocad dxf/dwg file
I dont have much luck with the auto detect units when importing into Revit and so always check that in Autocad firstly.
You may find its there but just very small in the view.

Can you window the entire 3d view (after zoom to fit) and then see if its picked up when you go to the filter option ?

I was thinking there might be a setting problem so initially I did check the units and then
zoomed to fit. In keeping with the dwg. settings, could it have anything to do with whether the dwg is saved as wire framed, shaded, etc.?

I've tried importing the object in a family and a project and still no results. I'll keep trying, let me know if you have anything else.
