stupid question perhaps, but i'm having a problem when i edit families and such, additional toolbars are created for single buttons (like the 'edit' button). this is extremely annoying when trying to accomplish simple modelling as my screen jumps all over the place.

those toolbars don't drag or slide, so how do i stack them up on one bar?

thanks!

I think that jumpy thing happens when your screen resolution is set too low?
Or you went from a widescreen to a full screen?

I had it happen before and it went away when i corrected my resolution to a minimum of 1024x768... I think.

It's been a while but it WAS that simple.

Thanks - close.

I'm running revit on my laptop and hooked up to a separate monitor. on my laptop screen, the toolbar is fine - no jumping, nice and compact. on the external monitor, no good. the set resolution for this monitor is correct and the strange thing is that this started today, while i've been using this setup for two months. Other thoughts?

That would be a nice idea seeing that I'm suffering through the same kind of thing right now.
