whats this...wall join

i know how to "disallow" and that works . i would prefer not to have to do all of the disallowing and dragging at each wall location and i do not like the line that is left where the two walls meet....i checked my walls i think the layers are all fine....i just dont understand why the interior wall is reaching to the exterior when i trim to the exterior wall

Just as a note, if using the Disallow Join, you can use the "Join geometry" tool to get rid of the line you are talking about.

Now to the problem: Is this a stacked wall?

Also, try this:
Cut the wall (CTRL + X) and pasting it back (Edit > paste aligned > Same place)

Or this:
Double click the blue dot where both walls meet.

I'm assuming that the layers functions are fine since you said you have looked at the wall's layers.
