We started a Revit model before the architects and now the building is in a different location. The architects have not started a Revit model. They are using Autocad now. Later they will begin a Revit model. How do we move our Revit model to match architectural drawings and later their Revit model? Can we move our model to match dwgs and Revit Model? Thanks.

Yes, you can use the beautiful, slightly complicated, tool called Shared Coordinates.

Shared coordinates is your answer, & as echo says, it is a beautiful if slightly complicated tool; make sure you follow the process through & let all users know how it works so they wont accidentally go in & change your coordinates location!! :)

I'm surprised the original thread didn't generate more commentary (except for miss thing in DC), but SC have been discussed to death here, so not too shocked in the end. However, suggestion: post your question about the username and suffix to the AUGI Forum Tips & Tricks, specifically mention the numerical assignment after your username for others to follow in the future.
:)
