Hi All,
I just bumped into a situation where I'm trying to pull some exist surface off from another project onto my current one.
While it only worked once (for my grading file) I was going to open another file to create a drainage divide file to show existing conditions. Problem is that when I try to "create reference" of the existing surface, CAD says "drawing already attached to project" when clearly it's only attached to a totally different file in the new project AND it's not listed in the surface tab in the prospector tree for my new project folder.
My questions are:
1) How do you "delete" or "unreference" a surface other than to delete it out of the drawing that the reference is created? (btw, I did delete the surface, but it still wont let me reference the existing surface to any new drawings).
2) Why does ACAD still give me a message of that fashion when I already unreferenced the surface from the other project? The XML files look ok.
Any help is greatly appreciated
