2d graphics driver dilemma

Our office server machine has a Xeon Quadcore 4gb RAM computer that I just installed 3dsMaxDesign2009 on.......only to find out that the graphics card for the machine is an ATI ES1000 - a 2d, not 3d driver.

I couldn't find information for updating or upgrading this driver on the ATI website. Any suggestions? It would be a terrible waste to find out I couldn't get a 2d to 3d update to run the program on one of our best machines.

Well....if you just plan on rendering on it then it doens't matter at all! If you want to work on it...thats a whole other ball game.

Thanks for the feedback. If it still has rendering capabilities then it won't be an issue since that's all I really need it for. That's a relief at least.
