plan region question....

i have a region in the center of a second floor plan i would like to have a different plan region as the rest (perimeter) of the floor plan.....is that doable?....doesn't seem to allow one region within another

Since Revit will not allow plan regions "nested" within each other, what I would do is make three plan regions: a plan region for the center, a "U" shaped plan region around the center region and another rectangular region to finish surrounding the center region.
