Wall Cleanup Problem

I am having issues cleaning up the condition shown below. I need the masonry to cleanup with each other and not where the other wall cuts into the masonry wall. I have tried the edit wall joins, but no luck. Is there a specific way I should use the edit wall join to get this to work? Do I need to change something within the wall itself?

I have attached the revit file of this condition.

Since you drew them as separated pieces, I had to select the piece that's intersecting, right click on its blue dot and select Disallow join. Once it was done, I dragged it to where it was supposed to be and use the "Join Geometry" toll to get rid of the bold line in between.
