Is it possible to colour the framing on a curtain wall and if so ho's it done? Thanks.

Yes. Select one of the mullions from the frame (you may want to hover your cursor over the mullion and use TAB to select it). Once selected, go to Properties > Edit/New > Change the material under Material and Finishes.

Thanks Andre, I 'discovered' how to change materials after playing around for a while. Haiving a background in 3ds, I can only say that applying materials in Revit is just the pits and couldn't have been made less intuitive. I think I'm going to stay with 3ds for renderings too as mental ray is really crippled in Revit, which is sad as it's capable of so much more than it currently delivers and man is SLOW at higher resolutions!
