I cannot seem to get the export settings to AutoCAD to recognized the color I assign for Demo & Existing. They always export white #7, even though I am assigning them Color #30 (orange).

The export color setting do work if I change the -Layers and Properties- to "All properties BYLAYER, no overrides"
But the problem with that is the dimensions do not export correctly, they end up one scale for all the different scale details on the sheet.

In other words I am looking for ALL the export layer colors to be "By Layer" in AutoCAD.
The trick is to do it without messing up dimension scales and the grid lines going solid line on sheets when you un-check "Xref views on sheets" box.

Revit 2008 worked, but 2009 does not.

I've tried almost every combination of export settings and the following attachments are the closest to what is needed.

If I run a Batch ByLayer conversion it will work, but it's a pain & every user would be responsible to do it and that is not going to happen.

Is there an easier way to change all layers to "ByLayer" color??

Ok I got it.

I knew that that Revit 2009 made changes to phasing overrides,
and I just changed some phasing overrides in demo & existing
back to "no overrides" and it works like it did with 2008.

I guess it when I upgraded our templates, Revit made some assumptions in the Phasing Graphic Overrides department that ended up not being what I wanted.

What a waste of time though, I hope this thread will save someone some hours of research..
