I've run into a slight issue. I have a 2 files in the same folder with the exact same name when I look at Windows Explorer. But when we look at the actual server log, there's only one. Any Idea why this happens? Any Idea on a fix? It's happened twice now, both times while using saving files in Acad.
Thanks in Advance.

what happens if you try renaming one of them? does the other change as well?

Yep.
If I Change the one file name ("a") in Explorer, they both change. If I do a save as via Acad, to a different file name ("a" goes to "b"), there's still 2 copies of "a" and one copy of "b". Here's the screwy part. If I go back to Explorer and delete both copies of "a", they get deleted. Everything is fine except I need to re-name "b" back to "a" to keep the xref link. When it now shows 2 copies of "a" again. :screwy: :banghead:
Again, if we look at the actual server map (it's a linux based server) there's only one file there. Our network guy thinks it's a windows glitch that's not delete a cashe file somewhere along the line. ~shurg~ I don't know. I just draw stuff.
Got any more ideas?
