I'm trying to recreate our standard cover sheet in revit and i'm wondering what the best way to go about doing this is. Is there a way I can merely insert the dwg file with layout adn text already done or do I need to retype it all? If I do need to retype it should I do it directly on the sheet or go into another view of some kind and then drag it into my sheet?
Thanks for your help.

Yes you could just insert the dwg, but that won't be best long term. You'll wan't to ba able to use Revit labels to fill in project information. So I suggest recreating it. Everything can go right in the sheet.

We made a family for each size and put our title block on it. We added some visibility flags to turn off and on different parts of the sheet that we may or may not need to give it more flexibility. It is essentially the only 'Sheet' we use and just flag as required. WIth a dwg, you would lose that flexibility in addition to the labels and custom parameters.
