ok,
We have a floor plan and an enlarged floor plan. We want to show a hatch pattern in Both the plans, for eg. lines with a spacing of 18" o.c. on 1/8" Plan and 1/4" Plan.
What happens is when the Plan and its' call-out is placed on sheet, the Hatch Pattern appears to be the same (consistent) This is good thing but.....one of our Architects disagrees the he wants to show 18" on both.

I know this can be achieved with Model Patterns but not detail....please see attached for better grasp what I am tryin' to say....

It will be much appreciated if I could find a walk-around. It is sometimes hard to convince 'old-schoolers' LOL!!! No offence out there!! :-D

The only way is with model patterns, and Revit will not allow you to use model patterns in the cut patterns slot. If this is a floor in section, you'd have to create another drafting pattern, at 1/2 the spacing, and place a filled region over top of the 1/4" floor section.

You know, you could create a new material, twice the size of the first one and then override the walls in the view and change the material to be the new one. It would work...

But I think the best workaround would be to purge the old schooler and load a new architect into your family, if you know what I mean...
