Does anyone have any thoughts on how to create a wire mesh guardrail? I've tried using a wire mesh baluster panel as a rail but that cleans up very oddly at the slope changes.

I can't seem to get a wire mesh baluster to work as a baluster at all.

Any thoughts or examples would be greatly appreciated.

...one more twist...is their a way to have the wire mesh run perpendicular to the stringer at all times (even on sloped stairs)?

Thanks,

i actually just finished working on one of these... not too terribly successful, I might add. I used vertical balusters for the supports, then used a vertical flat profile for the mesh portion, along with railings to elicit the top/bottom supports... mesh portion was set to transparent with a mesh model pattern...

yeah i would definetly look at having the mesh a model pattern. Trying to model all the wires in a mesh will be a performance hog and will make you wish there was another way.
