Help With Error Message?

Since we upgraded a project from 2008 to 2009, I have been getting the following error message when I save the local file or when I STC...

"Linked file File 07258 Phase I - Low Rise.rvt cannot be saved because it has changes in more than just shared coordinates and there for can invalidate Local Files owned by you."

Anybody have any idea just what that means or what might be causing it. It doesn't prevent me from saving, I am still able to save, but it puzzles me.

The quick answer is open the linked file - save - and the error message should go away.
