Hello all,
I am running acad 08 sp1 with win xp. This morning when I open a file to edit, I get this error message: "THIS VERSION OF AUTOCAD WAS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY AND SOME FEATURES MAY NOT RUN PROPERLY. YOU SHOULD REINSTALL AUTOCAD IMMEDIATELY TO MAKE SURE ALL FEATURES ARE WORKING PROPERLY. DO YOU WISH TO CONTINUE ANYWAY." I dig out my disc, plug it in and it tells me to go to control panel and click change/remove, the disc will run in maintenance mode. You can choose repair or reinstall. I tried both and got a "fatal error during setup". I am able to open files but I get the same error message and have to cancel it several times.

What should I do now ??!!

Have you tried searching the Autodesk KB?
http://support.autodesk.com

This should address your problem:
