Electrical legend

Is there a way to automatically generate an electrical legend from an electrical plan? Kind of a door or window schedule?

Legends, as far as I know, are not automated.

To make a schedule you would lose the 'picture' part of the legend. The only way I can see around this would be using a custom font that replaces unused characters with electrical symbols. Just add them to a shared parameter in the electrical components and schedule it with the custom font. It's a lot of work, but might be worth it if the automation is required.

We just have several different electrical legends and use the one most appropriate and don't worry if some items are not used.

There isn't. As Richard said, make a master legend in your template file, copy over and delete as appropriate. Same as regular cad I suppose...

Yeah, that is what I thought. I always use a complete legend with all the simbols (like Richard said), and I think I am going to keep doing the same thing.
