Hatch Object Limit Exceeded

Well I was working with C3D '09 and for some reason when I went to do a quick save I got this message. Hatch Object Limit Exceeded: more than 10000 hatch boundary objects are selected. Creating this hatch object can be time consuming. Do you want to proceed?

Has anyone else seen this?
